Fellowship

“By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another” (John. 13:35), is one of Jesus’ sayings that show how closely related the Gospel and Christian fellowship are. In our time and culture, where individualism is paramount, an emphasis on the importance of fellowship is needed, if Christians want the good news of the resurrection of their Lord and Saviour to be spread effectively in their communities. But the message is important also as a warning not to confuse unity with conformity. In this issue of “The Golden Candlestick”, No. 208, T. Austin-Sparks deals with both matters.
